What's the difference between your mattresses?
Our range covers
(1) Essential— a balanced foam-and-spring hybrid,
(2) the Aether Pro — a deeper hybrid with zoned support and cooling layers for hot sleepers and heavier bodies, and

Which mattress is best for back pain?
Most people with back pain do best on a medium-firm mattress with strong lumbar support. The Aether Pro's zoned spring system is designed specifically for this, but every body is different — our 200-night trial means you can test it risk-free.
Which mattress is best for side sleepers?
Side sleepers usually prefer a medium feel with good pressure relief at the shoulders and hips. The Aether Original or Lux are typically the best fit.
Which mattress is best for back and stomach sleepers?
Back and stomach sleepers normally prefer firmer support to keep the spine aligned. The Aether Pro is our most supportive option.
Which mattress is best for couples?
All Aether mattresses use pocket springs with motion-isolating foam layers, which reduces partner disturbance. The Aether Pro and Lux have the strongest motion isolation.
Are your mattresses suitable for heavier bodies?
Yes. The Aether Pro is engineered to support sleepers up to 150 kg per side without sagging, with reinforced edge support and a higher coil count.
Are your mattresses suitable for children?
Yes. Our mattresses are made with hypoallergenic, low-VOC materials and meet UK fire safety regulations for domestic use, including children's beds. We do not recommend any adult mattress for use in cots.
Are your mattresses suitable for elderly sleepers?
Many of our customers are over 60. The Pro and Lux models offer excellent pressure relief and easy "in and out" edge support, which many older sleepers find helpful.
I'm pregnant — can I still buy a mattress now?
Yes. Our mattresses are made from low-emission, OEKO-TEX certified materials. We recommend airing the mattress for 24 hours after unboxing before sleeping on it.
