Our Story

Aether began long before the first prototype, the first material test, or the first factory visit. It started in a home , in a father who hated the version of himself that emerged after a bad night of sleep. For years, I struggled with insomnia.

And every morning after a restless night, I could feel myself becoming someone I didn’t want to be - sluggish, irritable, short-tempered, disconnected from the people I loved the most. Not because I didn’t care… but because I was exhausted.

And exhaustion makes us less human.

I noticed how my lack of sleep affected my conversations with my partner, my patience with my children, my ability to be present with my friends. I didn’t recognise the person I would become on those days, and I hated it.

That was the moment the seed for Aether was planted.

Not as a business idea, but as a personal mission.

I wanted to build something that helped me become the person my family deserved every morning.

Something that helped my friends live with more ease, and helped the people I loved wake up as the gentler, kinder, more connected versions of themselves.

And so, Aether was born:

A sleep company built for people who value friendship, family, and the simple human desire to be better for the ones who matter.

We poured science, engineering, and obsessive craftsmanship into creating the ultimate sleep experience — not because we wanted to make another mattress, but because we wanted to reshape mornings, homes, and relationships.
